To-morrow is Saint Valentine’s day,
All in the morning betime,
And I a maid at your window,
To be your Valentine.
Then up he rose, and donn’d his clothes,
And dupp’d the chamber-door;
Let in the maid, that out a maid
Never departed more.
The first gifting event every year is Valentine’s day. And I, for one, always spend the day with my family. Simple lunch followed by a movie night, or dinner at a fine-dining restaurant. More often than not we spent it by malls-hopping. A couple of years back I started a tradition by buying gifts for myself. That first year I bought a nice red case for my Blackberry, the next year, iPad smart case, and the next, a pair of shoes. This year, I still haven’t decided yet what to get, but of course I’ve piled a bunch of “wishlist” to be ticked off from my iPod’s reminders.
