Universal Studio Singapore

The long awaited Universal Studio Singapore post is finally here. As you know, I went there last December with Nataly of Imagine Madness. Total fun! Because everything is better when you’re with your best friend, right? I even rode the scary attraction.

Me and Nataly at the MRT station. If you’re going by MRT, stop at the Harbour Front station and took the Sentosa Express. The entrance to Universal Studio is nearby Chili’s. It took around 15-20 minutes from Somerset station.

We started our adventure with A Crate Adventure at Madagascar, Shrek 4-D Adventure and Enchanted Airways at Far Far Away (this one’s scary!! lol). Lucky we were on time for The Dance For The Magic Beans. And thank goodness the weather was cloudy, so we could enjoy lots of outdoor activities. After the Far Far Away, we went to ride Canopy Flyer at The Lost World only to come back to Far Far Away to buy the fairy godmother’s potion because Nataly happened to see the cute bottle on the map hahaha.

The gate to Far Far Away, my favourite place inside USS! The fairy godmother’s potion is a little bit expensive (SGD 13.50) but it’s so worth it ❤︎ I chose the guava juice and I’m loving every drop of it! It’s too much for one though, so you’d better share it with someone 🙂

Don’t be afraid to get wet! Use these super cute drying pods!

Late in the afternoon, we had cheese hotdogs with bacon from Fossil Fuels. It tasted good and the portion was big enough for lunch. Next we went to ride the most childish attraction ever, Treasure Hunters at Ancient Egypt (pictured below). We didn’t expect it to be a really really slow ride (we basically rode in a jeep and went around for like 5 minutes to see the fake crocodile and fake giant ants).

Definitely not the place for the faint hearts! Nataly went alone to ride the Battlestar Galactica: Human, because I simply couldn’t muster up the courage lol.

Found this hidden place behind Mel’s drive-in. Take a right turn after Lights, Camera, Action! and you’ll see the beautiful gate. It was “snowing” when we went there. Perfect for a photoshoot.

And finally .. SHOPPING!! I had been eyeing the minions popcorn bucket since the beginning, but only got the chance now to see it closely. I almost bought it lol almost. But then I remembered my Disneyland popcorn bucket that got turned into a trashcan :’) I ended up with a super cute minions USB tho ❤︎

After going shopping, we went around the park once more. This time we spent more time for photos, snacks and using our $5 vouchers .. on useless stuff 😉
